| Hit the Switch 18/12/09 - With a good start, taking the lead in the last furlong he ran well under pressure over the final 50 yards to take 1st place at the post. Rob Lloyd was delighted with the result, 'with just one more win to take us to twenty this season, it's a tribute to Pat Morris and his teams tireless commitment and determination to win that's achieved these fantastic results' said Rob. |

| 18/6/09 | DOUBLE FIRST It's a double first for Rob Lloyd Racing and Ffas Llas Racecourse! Rob Lloyd Racing has entered PIPERS SONG, GRAYCLIFFE and SANDY'S LEGEND into their first steeplechase races. Ffos Llas Racecourse opens it's doors for the first time and is the first new turf racecourse to be built in years. The racecourse, which is situated between Llanelli and Carmarthen, promises to be a fantastic venue for Rob Lloyd Racing in the future. |

| 25/5/09 | GROUP VISIT David Pickering, head of the Chester Racing Club Syndicate, brought several syndicate members to haycroft to see their horses ride out on the gallops, this Bank Holiday Monday. All members are good friends and are very optimistic about this season with Rob Lloyd Racing. |

| 23/5/09 | ANOTHER VISIT Peckforton Castle Hotel owner, Christopher Naylor was accompanied by his son at Haycroft on a sunny Saturday morning to view his horse PECKFORTON CASTLE. Says Christopher "I try and get down here as often as I can - I find Haycroft a wonderful, relaxing and friendly place. Watching PECKFORTON on the gallops is exciting and I'm really looking forward to his first race next month". |

| 13/5/09 | OWNERS VISIT Sean & Betty Hussey visited Haycroft to see their 3 yr old gelding, STEPS TO FREEDOM, by Statue of Liberty. Mr & Mrs Hussey were accompanied by close friends John & Breda Morris, who, had the added bonus of catching up with their son, our trainer, Pat Morris. The group stayed over for a couple of nights at The Peckforton Castle Hotel and along with visits to Chester and other local spots enjoyed a wonderful mini holiday break. |

| 8/5/09 | OWNER FOR THE DAY As an added bonus to her “Racehorse owner for the day” experience, Sara-Jane Winter was given the opportunity to ride out on DESSIE, Rob Lloyd Racing’s only ‘retired’ racehorse. Sara-Jane, with husband and friends Mr & Mrs McEntyre, enjoyed a champagne breakfast on Friday at Haycroft Farm and then went on to the raceday at Chester. Returning to Rob Lloyd Racing the following day to take up Rob’s offer to ride out on DESSIE, Sara-Jane said, ‘after such a great day yesterday, riding Dessie today was the icing on the cake’. |

| 7/5/09 | CELEBRITIES JOIN US FOR BREAKFAST Laura Coleman, Miss England 2008/09, Lisa Appleton and Mario Marconi, housemates in Big Brother Nine, spent the morning with us at Rob Lloyd Racing Yard. They then joined us in a great afternoon at Chester Races cheering BEBENINE, one of our syndicate horses. BEBENINE syndicate members Lisa and Mario were also joined by Boodles Jewellers of Chester. |

| 7/5/09 | VIP DAY OUT Wayne Mellor, CEO of Inacity Developments and his partner Sarah Molynex, who whilst on a holiday cruise, successfully bid for a VIP Day at the Rob Lloyd Racing Yard, with complementary tickets for an afternoon at Chester races, the prize was donated by Yard owner Rob Lloyd for the "5 Stars Appeal" childrens' charity. Having stayed at the Peckforton Castle Hotel the evening before, Wayne, Sarah and their guests were picked up by driver, Paul Ditchfield and taken to Rob Lloyd Racing for a champagne breakfast. There, they met other guests including Miss England, Laura Coleman and housemates from Big Brother, Lisa Appleton and Mario Marconi. Wayne and Sarah enjoyed watching several horses ride out on the gallops before being driven to Chester races for the remainder of their VIP Day. |

| 18/4/09 | THE SECRET IS OUT Rob Lloyd, owner of Rob Lloyd Racing, appeared recently on Channel 4’s popular programme, Secret Millionaire and decided to carry on the theme by naming a recently purchased two-year-old ‘SECRET MILLIONAIRE’. Bought at the Kempton Breeze-Up sales for £56k, this Kyllachy colt will be running at Chester’s May meeting. Other two-year-olds running this season include a £100k colt by Acclamation, a £50k half sister to a Group 3 winner, Ancient Regime by Xaar, as well as a number of other promising two-year-olds, all making for a very strong team. |

| 12/4/09 | THE GAMBIA NEEDS YOU! Paul Williams (a Director of Eatonfield plc, based at Haycroft Farm with Rob Lloyd Racing) recently returned from the Gambia, shocked by the poverty that he and his wife witnessed. Determined to do something about it, he and his wife Paula have been inspired by the tireless efforts of a small UK registered charity, COGS (Children of Gambia Services). COGS, in the last year, has built the first two classes and funded the running of a small nursery school, which they both visited.
