12/6/10 - Coming in 3rd at Leicester, just losing second place over the final furlong.

28/5/10 - A good result for Roodee Queen at Redcar coming a strong 2nd.

28/5/10 - A tough race for Ask Jenny at Brighton, held up badly over the first few furlongs, managing to take advantage of a small gap, Ask Jenny ran on to chase down the leaders to come a respectable 3rd.

21/5/10 - A great 1st place for Ask Jenny at Catterick, after a slow start to the season, she won comfortably by taking the lead inside the final furlong and winning by 3/4 of a lengh.

Radiater Rooney
12/5/10 - A strong 1st place for Radaitor Rooney at Bath, taking the lead at the final furlong and maintaining a good pace to the finish.

Roodee Queen
7/5/10 - A great result for the Chester Racing Clubat Hamilton Racecourse with Roodee Queen finishing 2nd.

18/2/10 - Another 2nd for Mackintosh at Southwell, although held up at the start he made good ground, led in the first furlong and chased the leader to the post with a solid finish. It's only a matter of time until he gets a 1st at the post.

15/1/10 - A great 1st place for Radiator Rooney at Wolverhampton. Held up at the start he made up good ground to take the lead inside the final furlong for a strong finish.

Rubenstar
9/1/10 - Rubenstar's second outing in a fortnight, this time taking 1st place at Lingfield by a nose. 'he's a good horse to work with, and his latest result shows all the hard work has been well worth it' said trainer Pat Morris.

8/1/10 - A good steady race at Southwell saw Artesium finish a strong 2nd.

Hit the Switch
5/1/10 - Another great 1st for Hit the Switch at Southwell, 'we've done it, our 20th winner, it just had to be Hit the Switch, a favorite at the yard, the whole team is delighted' said Rob Lloyd.

Goodison Goal
31/12/09 - A strong race for Goodison Goal saw her just lose 2nd place to end up 3rd at Lingfield, all in all a good race.

Rubenstar
28/12/09 - Rubenstar's first outing for sometime with a fantastic 2nd place at Wolverhampton, with two possible outings on the 9th and 11th of January, watch this space!

Good weekend at Wolverhampton!
19/12/09 - Both Colombard and Mackintosh had a good outing on Saturday at Wolverhampton. Both came 3rd in their respective races making it a good steady performance for Rob Lloyd Racing.

Hit the Switch
18/12/09 - With a good start, taking the lead in the last furlong he ran well under pressure over the final 50 yards to take 1st place at the post. Rob Lloyd was delighted with the result, 'with just one more win to take us to twenty this season, it's a tribute to Pat Morris and his teams tireless commitment and determination to win that's achieved these fantastic results' said Rob.

16/12/09 - Another good solid race from Radiator Rooney finishing 3rd at Lingfield. Trainer Pat Morris is convinced he is close to his first win.

08/12/09 - A good run at Southwell saw Hit the Switch finish a strong 3rd, with another possible outing on the 12th, Hit the Switch will be one to watch.

06/12/09 - A good performance at Lingfield for Radiator Rooney, although held up in midfield, came on strong in the final furlong to finish an honest 3rd.

01/12/09 - Yet another fantastic win at Lingfield for Ask Jenny, having been held up in the last three with a lot to do over the final 2 furlongs, she made up a lot of ground to win by the last few strides.

30/11/09 - Took a while to get going but came on strong over the last furlong at Wolverhampton to finish an impressive 3rd.

24/11/09 - Started well back at the start, but went wide to take the lead after the 2nd furlong at Southwell, a fantastic win by 8 lengths, still strong at the post.

21/11/09 - A storming finish over the last 150 yards took Ask Jenny to a fantastic Win at Lingfield. Having been held up over the first furlong jockey Jamie Spencer went wide outside, giving Ask Jenny a stunning run to the finish.

24/7/09 - Win at Thirsk in the 1 mile Seller by a head, a superb ride by Keegan Latham,
Winrob was bought back to stay in the yard for 10,000 guineas after the race.

Win at Lingfield in the 7 furlong All Weather Handicap by a neck the same day Secret Millionaire won there, this was Rob Lloyd Racings first double. A great effort by all the team.

20/6/09 | FIRST PLACE AT HAYDOCK
2 year old SCHOOLBOY CHAMP, by TRADE FAIR won first time out at Haydock Park today in a 5 furlong Maiden Auction race.

Rob Lloyd Racing and owners, The Chester Racing Club, are highly delighted with this result and are looking forward for further results from this 2 year old.

18/6/09 | DOUBLE FIRST
It's a double first for Rob Lloyd Racing and Ffas Llas Racecourse! Rob Lloyd Racing has entered PIPERS SONG, GRAYCLIFFE and SANDY'S LEGEND into their first steeplechase races.

Ffos Llas Racecourse opens it's doors for the first time and is the first new turf racecourse to be built in years. The racecourse, which is situated between Llanelli and Carmarthen, promises to be a fantastic venue for Rob Lloyd Racing in the future.

25/5/09 | GROUP VISIT
David Pickering, head of the Chester Racing Club Syndicate, brought several syndicate members to haycroft to see their horses ride out on the gallops, this Bank Holiday Monday. All members are good friends and are very optimistic about this season with Rob Lloyd Racing.

Peckforton Castle Hotel owner, Christopher Naylor was accompanied by his son at Haycroft on a sunny Saturday morning to view his horse PECKFORTON CASTLE. Says Christopher "I try and get down here as often as I can - I find Haycroft a wonderful, relaxing and friendly place. Watching PECKFORTON on the gallops is exciting and I'm really looking forward to his first race next month".

13/5/09 | OWNERS VISIT
Sean & Betty Hussey visited Haycroft to see their 3 yr old gelding, STEPS TO FREEDOM, by Statue of Liberty. Mr & Mrs Hussey were accompanied by close friends John & Breda Morris, who, had the added bonus of catching up with their son, our trainer, Pat Morris. The group stayed over for a couple of nights at The Peckforton Castle Hotel and along with visits to Chester and other local spots enjoyed a wonderful mini holiday break.

PINBALL

13/5/09 | 1ST & 2ND PLACES
PINBALL romped home with odds of 16-1 at the night meeting at Bath racecourse. With PIPERS SONG coming in a strong 2nd, it resulted in a great night for Rob Lloyd Racing.

"A good night! We have had some great results like these over the past few weeks, we are making great progress – Trainer Pat and the team are doing a fantastic job" commented Rob Lloyd.

As an added bonus to her “Racehorse owner for the day” experience, Sara-Jane Winter was given the opportunity to ride out on DESSIE, Rob Lloyd Racing’s only ‘retired’ racehorse.
Sara-Jane, with husband and friends Mr & Mrs McEntyre, enjoyed a champagne breakfast on Friday at Haycroft Farm and then went on to the raceday at Chester. Returning to Rob Lloyd Racing the following day to take up Rob’s offer to ride out on DESSIE, Sara-Jane said, ‘after such a great day yesterday, riding Dessie today was the icing on the cake’.

7/5/09 | CELEBRITIES JOIN US FOR BREAKFAST
Laura Coleman, Miss England 2008/09, Lisa Appleton and Mario Marconi, housemates in Big Brother Nine, spent the morning with us at Rob Lloyd Racing Yard. They then joined us in a great afternoon at Chester Races cheering BEBENINE, one of our syndicate horses. BEBENINE syndicate members Lisa and Mario were also joined by Boodles Jewellers of Chester.

7/5/09 | VIP DAY OUT
Wayne Mellor, CEO of Inacity Developments and his partner Sarah Molynex, who whilst on a holiday cruise, successfully bid for a VIP Day at the Rob Lloyd Racing Yard, with complementary tickets for an afternoon at Chester races, the prize was donated by Yard owner Rob Lloyd for the "5 Stars Appeal" childrens' charity. Having stayed at the Peckforton Castle Hotel the evening before, Wayne, Sarah and their guests were picked up by driver, Paul Ditchfield and taken to Rob Lloyd Racing for a champagne breakfast. There, they met other guests including Miss England, Laura Coleman and housemates from Big Brother, Lisa Appleton and Mario Marconi.

Wayne and Sarah enjoyed watching several horses ride out on the gallops before being driven to Chester races for the remainder of their VIP Day.

4yr old gelding, ROCKETBALL had a fantastic 1st Place result for his owner, Miss Sharron Petigrew, at the Hamilton meeting today. ROCKETBALL showed what he’s capable of and Rob Lloyd Racing are looking forward to repeat performances.

18/4/09 | THE SECRET IS OUT
Rob Lloyd, owner of Rob Lloyd Racing, appeared recently on Channel 4’s popular programme, Secret Millionaire and decided to carry on the theme by naming a recently purchased two-year-old ‘SECRET MILLIONAIRE’. Bought at the Kempton Breeze-Up sales for £56k, this Kyllachy colt will be running at Chester’s May meeting. Other two-year-olds running this season include a £100k colt by Acclamation, a £50k half sister to a Group 3 winner, Ancient Regime by Xaar, as well as a number of other promising two-year-olds, all making for a very strong team.

12/4/09 | THE GAMBIA NEEDS YOU!
Paul Williams (a Director of Eatonfield plc, based at Haycroft Farm with Rob Lloyd Racing) recently returned from the Gambia, shocked by the poverty that he and his wife witnessed. Determined to do something about it, he and his wife Paula have been inspired by the tireless efforts of a small UK registered charity, COGS (Children of Gambia Services). COGS, in the last year, has built the first two classes and funded the running of a small nursery school, which they both visited.
